Blues, Brews and Brats: A Basin music and food extravaganza coming up

There will be a lot to savor at Blues, Brews and Brats, a music and food extravaganza sponsored by the Klamath Basin Sunrise Rotary club which will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Klamath Yacht Club, 2700 Front St.

Four of the region's best blues band will come together to provide music for this fundraiser which will benefit hospice programs for children.

Texas blues, swing, classic blues and New Orleans blues will be provided by the Craig Allen Blues Band, The Basin Boogie Band featuring Christina Winchell, the Klamath Basin Blues Society Jam Band, Broadway Phil and the Shouters and the Boogie Kats featuring Glen Briggs.


A Bratwurst dinner with German potato salad, sauerkraut and trimmings will be offered along with samples of locally brewed beers from Mia's and Pia's Pizzeria and Brewhouse and the Klamath Basin Brewing Company.

Tickets for Blues, Brews and Brats are $20 and are available at Klamath Hospice, 437 Main St., Holliday Jewelry in the Jefferson Square Mall, Real Estate Unlimited at 520 Klamath Ave., Pellegrino's Boot and Shoe Repair 2650 Washburn Way and Amerititle at 222 S. Sixth St.
